INFINITI CANADA - Infiniti today reported Canadian monthly sales of 662 units, up 8.2 per cent from 612 a year earlier. Year-to-date, Infiniti has sold 2,918 vehicles up 20.7 per cent versus 2012.
Contributing to Infiniti's strong month were its luxury crossover and sport utility vehicles, which were up 59.7 per cent over April 2012. The Infiniti JX 7-passenger luxury crossover celebrated its one-year anniversary in Canada and remains the best-seller in the line-up with sales of 273 units this month. Sales of the Infiniti QX56 and EX35 were also up with 31.8 and 4.0 per cent increases, respectively.
"The momentum continues for Infiniti as the popularity of the Infiniti JX remains strong, one year after it launched with exclusive features such as the world's first Back-Up Collision Intervention System," said Wendy Durward, Director of Infiniti Canada. "We expect showroom traffic to continue with the arrival of the much anticipated, all-new 2014 Infiniti Q50 luxury sports sedan this summer."
