Scion Canada strengthens its urban roots with title sponsorship of City Chase

SCION CANADA - As a unique urban-based and youthful brand, Scion Canada is the new title sponsor of the pioneering City Chase extreme racing series that will be bringing plenty of adventure to Canada's largest cities this summer.

The Scion City Chase is a one-day urban race in various cities where participants use physical strength, mental acuity and creative thinking to complete a variety of challenges while navigating their cityscape.

"Scion Canada is always looking for innovative ways that show how our vehicles fit with the individuality and active lifestyles of people who live in Canada's largest cities," said Cyril Dimitris, Director, Scion Canada.

This year's schedule for the Scion City Chase is as follows:

Edmonton: May 25
Calgary: June 8
Toronto #1: June 22
Montreal: July 13
Ottawa: July 27
Toronto #2: August 10
Vancouver: August 24

The Scion City Chase is one of a select series of sponsorships for Scion Canada in 2013. Others include the Polaris Music Awards, Scion Tuner Challenge and the Scion Contingency Racing Program.
