Formula One world champion Sebastian Vettel puts Wendy Durward and Infiniti IPL to the test on the track

NISSAN CANADA – What better way to experience the Infiniti Performance Line (IPL) G37 Coupe than as a passenger to Formula One World Champion Sebastian Vettel on a closed track? Yesterday, Wendy Durward, Director of Infiniti Canada did just that.

Just days before the Montreal Grand Prix, Durward was joined by 23 year old Red Bull Racing driver Sebastian Vettel at the Circuit ICAR in Mirabel, Quebec, for some hot laps in the 2011 IPL G Coupe. The event took place just weeks after Infiniti announced Vettel as its first ever Global Brand Ambassador.

"What a thrill to experience the power and performance of the IPL G Coupe with the world champion behind the wheel, really demonstrating what the car can do!" said Durward. "I cannot imagine a better brand ambassador for Infiniti than Sebastian, who lives and breathes performance every day."

Infiniti established its partnership with Red Bull Racing earlier this year and like many in the Red Bull Racing team, Vettel has been driving products from the Infiniti range, both as his personal car but also at different races around the world. As Global Brand Ambassador, Vettel is taking an active role in raising the profile of the Infiniti brand and its line-up during race weekends and select events like the one yesterday.

"We're excited to have Sebastian and the Red Bull Racing team in Montreal for the first Canadian F1 race since our partnership and we wish them all the best this weekend," added Durward.

Vettel and the Red Bull Racing team compete for their sixth Grand Prix win of the season this weekend at the Montreal Grand Prix.
