NISSAN CANADA - Nissan Canada Inc. (NCI) announced that the all-new 2013 Nissan Sentra compact sedan will be priced from $14,848 when it goes on sale at Canadian Nissan dealers at the end of October. The redesign of Sentra focuses on class-above design standards inside and out, as well as efficiency in engineering.
The new Sentra is five per cent lighter than the outgoing model, yet has slightly larger overall dimensions and more interior room. The lighter and more aerodynamic new Sentra allows Nissan to use a more fuel-efficient 1.8-litre engine, which along with the next generation Xtronic CVT with sub-planetary gear helps deliver a 13 per cent improvement in combined fuel economy (versus the previous generation Sentra). CVT-equipped models are rated at 4.9L/100km (58mpg) on the highway and 6.6L/100km (43 mpg) in the city. All CVT models achieve a best-in-class 5.8L/100km (49 mpg) combined (City and Highway) and a more than 860 km real-world driving range.
The new premium interior delivers roominess that is among the best in segment and a range of available comfort and driver-focused technology features, including heated leather-appointed seating surfaces, Dual Zone Automatic Climate Control, Bose Premium Audio System, RearView Monitor and NissanConnect with Navigation system.
