NISSAN CANADA - Nissan Canada Inc. (NCI) today reported July sales of 5,316 units, down 29.3 per cent over the same month last year. Year-to-date NCI sales are tracking up 2.6 per cent. Nissan division sales were 4,635 units for the month, down 33.3 per cent. Sales of Infiniti vehicles were up 19.7 per cent over the prior year to 681 units.
Nissan Titan sales set a new July record at 337 units, up 49.8 per cent, while sales of Nissan Rogue increased 7.2 per cent, at 953 units. The Nissan NV commercial vehicle line-up posted strong gains of 66.1 per cent this month with 98 units sold. The Sentra is the strongest seller in the Nissan line-up in July with sales of 1,137 units.
Infiniti sales are up 19.7 per cent in July with 681 units sold, and are tracking up 22.9 per cent CYTD. The all-new JX luxury crossover instantly became the best-seller in the Infiniti line-up and in July sales totalled 295 units. Sales of the Infiniti FX are up this month with a year-over-year increase of 21.6 per cent.
