Kia Canada Inc. achieves an industry-leading 47 months of continued sales growth in November

KIA CANADA - Kia Canada Inc. achieved its best November ever with a total of 5,719 new vehicle sales – a 17.8 per cent increase when compared to the same period a year prior.  Additionally, the industry-leading sales growth record also continues to an impressive 47 consecutive months. Kia's sales streak is highlighted by the record year the brand is experiencing with a year-to-date total of 73,840 vehicles sold, reflecting a 19.7 per cent increase.
 
Three vehicle lines highlighted Kia's November sales: the award-winning Rio sub-compact, including the sedan and 5-Door models, the Rondo, Canada's Urban Utility Vehicle, and the Sorento Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV). The Rio sub-compact collected a total of 1,150 sales, yielding a 79.7 per cent increase year-over-year. The Rondo finished in Kia's top three vehicle lines for the second consecutive month with a total of 942 units sold, equaling a notable 198.1 per cent growth when compared to November 2011. The Sorento continued to be one of the top-sellers, achieving 924 vehicle sales in the month of November.

"Our entire model range has positioned the company to achieve 47 consecutive months of sales growth and surpass 5,000 vehicles sales in November for the first time in Kia Canada's history."
 
In the month of November, Kia Canada awarded four charities across Canada with their second annual Drive Change Day awards of $10,000 each. The four charities - Parrsboro Youth Society, Seize your Future, Camp BUCKO and Wigs for Kids B.C. - all offer a unique outreach to their respective communities and Kia is confident that the funds will further assist the organizations' capabilities to reach more individuals in need.
 
Kia also held the North American reveal of the 2014 Sorento SUV, built at the state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in West Point Georgia, as well as the global launch of the all-new 2014 Forte compact sedan at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November.
